10 easy steps to obtain your Real Estate License :

1. Contact the Wyoming Real Estate Commission at (307) 777-7141 and obtain Candidate Handbook (no cost).

2. Contact Applied Measurement Professionals (AMP) 1-800-345-6559 and schedule a date and location to take the examination. You must preregister for the examination. AMP office hours are Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Schedule your examination as close to the end of pre-license class as possible
• Have your credit card ready (VISA and Master Card only).
• Examination fee is $125.00
• Examinations will be given in the following locations: Casper, Wyoming; Cheyenne, Wyoming; Denver, Colorado; Salt Lake City, Utah; Billings, Montana; Rapid City, South Dakota; and Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Space at the testing centers is very limited so register as soon as possible for the best possible date and time
  

3. Preregister for educational courses --- contact Steve Willoughby Seminars (307) 234-8653 (see schedule)

• Pre-license Salesman Course I – 40 hours
  (Exam preparation – required to obtain real estate license)
  
• Salesman Course II – 24 hours
  (Practical application - required to obtain real estate license)
  
• Pre-license Broker Course I – 40 hours
  (Exam preparation – required to obtain real estate broker license)
  
• Broker Course II – 24 hours
  (Practical application – required to obtain real estate broker license)
  
• Wyoming Law (only) – 8 hours
  (Review of license law and Real Estate Commission rules and regulations)

4. Salesman candidates only

• Interview brokers you would like to associate with in business
  

5. Complete educational courses

6. Successfully complete examination

7. Salesman candidate only

• Select a licensed broker that you will associate with in business
  

8. Complete application for License

• Application is mailed to you with notification of passing score on exam
  

9. Provide proof of continuing education to Wyoming Real Estate Commission

• Salesman Course I & II or Broker Course I & II
  

10. Pay the prescribed fees to Wyoming Real Estate Commission
